What is Monolith laser hair removal?

Monolith is a next-generation diode laser system made in Germany, designed for fast, effective, and virtually painless hair removal. It targets the melanin in hair follicles using advanced dual-wavelength technology, destroying them to prevent future growth.

Is monolith hair removal permanent?

Monolith offers long-term hair reduction. While no laser offers 100% permanent hair removal, most patients experience a significant and lasting reduction after a full course of treatments, with occasional top-ups.

How many sessions will I need?

We recommend 6 to 8 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. This depends on your hair type, growth cycle, and treatment area. Monolith’s high power and large spot size help reduce the total number of sessions compared to older technologies.

Unlimited Vs Single?

The unlimited package allows you to have the treatment as many times as you like within the month, allowing you to speed up your results with lower rates. In contrast, the single session package limits you to just one treatment during that period.

Is the treatment painful?

No, it’s designed to be virtually pain-free. monolith uses a powerful cooling system and smooth pulse technology to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe it as a warm sensation or a light rubber-band snap.

Which areas can be treated with monolith?

  • Face (upper lip, chin, jawline)
  • Arms & underarms
  • Legs
  • Bikini & Brazilian
  • Back, chest, and beard shaping (for men)

Is monolith safe for all skin types?

Yes. Monolith is equipped with dual-wavelength (810/940 nm) and advanced skin-cooling, making it safe and effective for all skin tones, including darker skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI).

Should I shave before my appointment?

Yes. Please shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session. Avoid waxing, plucking, or bleaching as these remove or alter the follicle, which is needed for the laser to work effectively.

What should I avoid before and after my session?

  • Direct sun exposure and tanning beds 1–2 weeks before and after treatment
  • Active skincare products (e.g., retinol, AHA/BHA) on the treatment area
  • Hot baths, saunas, or sweaty workouts for 24–48 hours post-treatment

Are there any side effects?

Monolith’s cooling system greatly minimizes side effects. However, mild redness or warmth may occur temporarily. Rare side effects include pigmentation changes or minor skin sensitivity, especially if aftercare is not followed.

Can men use monolith laser hair removal?

Absolutely. Monolith is popular among men for treating the beard line, back, chest, shoulders, and intimate areas, offering precision and comfort even on dense hair.

How much does it cost?

Our prices are completely transparent, you may see our prices on the booking platform or under our rates page:)

Can I undergo monolith treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

While monolith is safe, we do not recommend laser treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding as a precaution due to hormonal changes and limited clinical studies.

Will the hair grow back?

Treated follicles are permanently destroyed. However, some hair may return over time due to hormonal fluctuations. Maintenance treatments may be recommended once or twice a year.

How is monolith different from IPL or other lasers?

Unlike IPL, monolith is a true medical-grade diode laser with faster results, greater precision, fewer sessions, and higher safety—especially for darker skin tones. It also covers larger areas faster thanks to its biggest spot size on the market (up to 10 cm²).

Can Monolith laser hair removal be done on tattooed skin?

Laser hair removal cannot be done directly over tattoos. The laser targets pigment, and treating a tattooed area may cause burns, blistering, or fading of the tattoo. However, surrounding areas can still be safely treated. We will carefully map and avoid the tattooed zones during your session.
